I think that one of the first steps for me to becoming more employable (outside of learning in uni) is to obtain industry standard certifications.

Naturally being in the forces I would want to start off my journey in DOD companies, and after doing some reasearch, I have came realized that most of these types of companies view having CompTIA’s Security+ certification as one of the most basic qualifiers for even considering you.

The Plan

I’ve decided (if you couldn’t tell by the title of the post) that the first certification that I am going to study for and obtain is going to be Sec+.

I found a course online which I am going to be following, alongside my other classes. My hope is to hopefully have it by the end of the year.
